Educational Dynamix Founder Dr. Clemmie Whatley Joins Faculty of Mercer University


ATLANTA, GA - July 3, 2008 - Educational Dynamix, an educational services firm that focuses on the learning and development of educators and children through innovative and engaging programs and services, announced today that Dr. Clemmie Whatley has been named an assistant professor in the Tift College of Education for Mercer University.


Dr. Whatley will begin teaching Integrated Curriculum and Instruction and Classroom Management/Applied Learning on the Douglas campus during the fall semester.


Dr. Whatley graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from Clark Atlanta University and earned an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she was one of the first female minority graduates. She completed her Ph.D. in Educational Studies at Emory University. She also holds an Ed.S. from the State University of West Georgia in the areas of Secondary Mathematics and Educational Leadership. She is certified in secondary mathematics and educational leadership. Her educational and research focus is in mathematics education, organizational design, professional development, technology and research and evaluation. She also is a certified senior professional in human resources and quality facilitator.
